New Music: The Silver Abduction – Quarter To Two

Quarter To Two is the debut single from The Silver Abduction, a new collaboration between vocalist Allison Brice of Lake Ruth and musician/producer Andy Dragazis of Blue States.

The first single from their self-titled their debut album, it serves as a wonderful and captivating calling card for the band’s sound, which has actually been years in the making.

Filigrees of 60s beat-pop and garage music intertwine with revisionist pop in the style of Saint Etienne and Broadcast, as Brice’s vocals bring out the song’s rich pop pedigree. If Quarter To Two is anything to go by, the album is sure be the perfect soundtrack for many summer evenings to come.
