New Music: Aisha Badru – In The Making

In The Making sees Nigerian-American folkist Aisha Badru take a contemplative and emotionally complex look at existing in a world that constantly changes around us.

A statement of intent and a brave declaration of vulnerability, the song sees Badru look at how that change can affect us. Exploring uncertainty and, at times, the resultant sense of indecision, it actually looks at those things not as flaws, but as staging posts on a journey to self-improvement and a brighter future.

Explains Bardu about the track, “In The Making is a reflection on personal evolution and the continuous journey of self-discovery. This song embodies the essence of change, the fluidity of identity, and the desire to break free from expectations.”
