New Music: GHXST – Cosmic

A doomy, tightly woven melange of shoegaze, alt-rock, and proto-metal, Cosmic bridges some unexpected genres.

Los Angeles based GHXST serve up an intricate, intense atmosphere on Cosmic, as equally at home expressing Black Sabbath-style riffs as it is in soothing the listener with sugar-coated vocals and guitars that wouldn’t be amiss on a Mazzy Star deep cut. You can only be impressed at how they pull off something so counterintuitive and with such style.

Cosmic can be downloaded on Bandcamp and streamed on SoundCloud and Spotify. Head to Facebook and Instagram, throw the duo a follow, and keep in the loop with all the latest news from GHXST.
