New Music: Mia Baron – Til Death Do Us Part

Til Death Do Us Part amply demonstrates that Toronto-based singer-songwriter Mia Baron has a real talent for creating dramatic sonic and emotional tableaux.

Like an unofficial Bond theme for the heartbroken, the sweeping gothic meets RNB feel of the arrangement fits perfectly with the turmoil of the lyrics. Baron’s vocals shift subtly to amplify the inherent heartache of the song, like a power ballad stripped of its pomp, leaving pain and beauty behind.
