New Music: Opera – Like a candle

Boston, Massachusetts based Opera bring power pop harmonies and lo-fi moods together on the beat-driven Like a candle.

Like a candle is the sound of a band operating beyond genre, hooks and vocals constantly offering you something new to savour, a taste sensation with every morsel.

The video – and track – may have a DIY atmosphere to them, but Opera attempt, and succeed, to make interesting and innovative music, dancing to the beat of their own drum.

Opera are active on Instagram and TikTok and involve themselves in outreach to other artists, including those in prison. Like a candle can be downloaded on Bandcamp and streamed on Spotify.
