New Music: Pink Milk – Awakening of Laura

  • New Music: Pink Milk - Awakening of Laura

Pink Milk is a dreamy goth-pop/shoegaze reverb-drenched band inspired by the paranormal and occult, and influenced by 80s music and contemporary art. The feedback-loving duo, consisting of Maria (vocals and drums) and Edward (guitars and bass), started out releasing music in 2015, quickly growing a reputation for their gloomy, glittering sound and enslaving melodies, as showcased perfectly on their latest release Awakening of Laura.

The accompanying clip for the track is quite striking, making use of animation to breathe life in to the song as well as the concept of the lyric video.

Pink Milk are gearing up to release their debut album Purple in the fall of 2017 on Black Hair Records and Awakening of Laura – which the band says is about passion and body lusts, will feature in the LP. For more information on the band, video clips and streaming info, check out their website.
