New Music: seibiant – Out of Phase

Out of Phase is the sonically powerful and emotionally vulnerable first single from seibiant’s upcoming Hypnotizer EP .

The Barcelona-based outfit bring a stirring post-punk rhythm section into play on Out of Phase, but it’s not always the dominant theme within the track.

DIIV and Drab Majesty come to mind when picking up on the shoegaze influences that fill in around and soften the bass and drums, but the vocals also shift those tones and textures, as they bring a James Dean Bradfield style wounded presence to the song. It’s certain to become a highlight, if not the highlight, of the band’s live shows.

Out of Phase and the band’s previous single, Leave No Light, can be streamed on Bandcamp and Spotify. For all the latest news on the Hypnotizer EP, and a support slot with Tramhaus in Barcelona on the 11th of October, make your presence known on Instagram.
