New Music: The Agency… – Defender

With their forthcoming album In the Haunted Woods due out on the 23^rd of October, British indie rockers The Agency… have given us a flavour of what’s to come with the new single Defender. You can check it out below on Soundcloud.

Based in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, the group takes a very melodic approach to indie and post-punk on Defender. Badly Drawn Boy and Echo and The Bunnymen are acts that come to mind here, as the song plays with sonic and lyrical darkness, to blistering effect – a very promising taster indeed for the new album.
