New Music: Alejandro Molinari & Juno Francis – Sunday Morning

Berlin-based Juno Francis (Angelica Ranåsen and Jacob Fagerstål) didn’t have to go far to find a like-minded spirit to work with on new single Sunday Morning. Fellow Berlin resident Alejandro Molinari brings some of their mixing and production magic to this delightful tune.

Released by the legendary label Italians Do It Better, Sunday Morning is a wonderfully lush and languid listening experience. Capturing both the aftermath and afterglow of a romantic encounter, its blend of ecstasy and impending sadness will be familiar to many. As the sparse yet warm tones of the arrangement evoke that moment when the weekend seems to last forever, the sublime vocals carry within them an undercurrent of the inevitable melancholy that comes with parting.
