Says Red Moon about I Run, “The week I wrote this song, I met up with one of my best friends who at that time lived a bit outside of London. I hadn’t expected we’d be able to meet, but we managed to make it happen.”  

“My intention for this song was to capture the emotion of how someone close to you can enhance and elevate the different and unique sides of you. I think friendships have been a true mirror and also the ones who inspire me to become more of myself.”

“This song is an ode and love letter to my amazing friends, family, and soul family who have been my support system over the last three years. As a queer person living away from home, chosen family is so important. I feel very lucky and proud to have created art together with my talented friends.”

“It takes time to find yourself as a person, often through several phases and eras of transformation. For me, as an artist, songwriter, and performer, this has truly shown in the last couple of years.”
