New Music: SUMif – Laces
We do seem to like everything SUMif – aka Steph Wells – is putting out right now. Hot on the heels of Move Out, we were captivated by new single Laces, which she co-wrote with Billie-Rae Grant and David Burris.
Once again, Steph Wells sings of love, but where previous singles have focused on the more euphoric moments of relationships, she takes a different tack here. Introspective, focusing on the nuts and bolts, the ups and downs, of making things work, Laces is grounded lyrically but still laden with emotion and positivity. As a neat metaphor threads the song together seamlessly, its hard not to fall for this song and its message.
Be sure to head over to the SUMif’ Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter socials for details on how to listen to Laces, and keep up to date with news from Wells and SUMif about the upcoming album.
